“Foley is one of the more interesting winemakers in Napa Valley,” wrote Wine Advocate founder Robert Parker, Jr. last year.

“I first met Robert Foley years ago when he was making the wines at Pride Vineyards, and his wines never lack intensity, always delivering high quality as well as abundant fruit.”

Foley is one of the most revered winemakers working in Napa Valley today and his pioneering work in “mountain” Cabernet Sauvignon — i.e., grown on the slopes of Howell Mountain as opposed to the valley floor — have made him a Napa Valley legend in his own time.

One of the wines to be poured at our Jan. 13 dinner will be the 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon, a vintage to which Parker has awarded 96 points.

Don’t miss this unique opportunity to meet and taste with Robert, one of the most dynamic winemakers working today.
