Since it opened in late 2013, Vallone’s has quickly become one of Houston’s top lunch, dinner, and happy hour destinations. Tony Vallone’s Americana-inspired menu features some of his favorite dishes from the American culinary tradition, from French Onion Soup and the “Tex” — two cheese enchiladas served with a center-cut filet — to Baked Alaska and housemade Cotton Candy (even the vanilla wafers for his banana pudding are baked in-house).
Of course, Tony’s signature pastas and the 55-day-aged steaks are also stars of the show in his cozy, fireplace-lit dining room. “It’s where the west side comes to wind down,” says Tony, who has recreated the warmth of the original Vallone’s, a favorite of Houston restaurant-goers. “And it’s given me a chance to revisit some of my favorite Americana dishes.”
A colorful “signature” cocktail program and “50 wines under $50” add to the restaurant’s appeal.
Our expansive 2nd Floor Private Dining Rooms can accommodate anything from a company business meeting, an important birthday with family, or a full wedding with reception area, band or DJ and a dance floor.
Both rooms are accessible by our 33-foot all-glass elevator with wrap around enclosed glass staircase. The private dining room is a dividable space, can seat up to 160. Both rooms can also hold up to 300 people for a cocktail reception.
Divided, the Broiler Room seats approximately 36 and the Meritage Room seats approximately 120. Both Rooms are available for Lunch or Dinner and can be booked a year in advance.
